This presentation will review the inner replacement parts and repair of a standard catch-pole. Attendees will learn how to replace a catch-pole cable and locking mechanism. This knowledge is cost effective to agencies when deciding whether to replace an entire pole or just the defective part. Basic catch-pole care tips are also discussed in order to extend the longevity of the pole. Focus on "proper" catch-pole use when restraining animals will be included.
